Intecus (Ingenieurgesellschaft für Technischen Umweltschutz, an envrionmental engineering and consulting company with the emphasison waste management) was founded in Berlin in 1985. Scientists and engineers from various disciplines such as environmental engineering, geology, process engineering, biology, industrial engineering, chemistry, water supply and distribution, metallurgy etc. are engaged at the Intecus offices located in Berlin, Dresden, Freiburg, Potsdam, Rotenburg and Saarbrücken.

With the innovative ideas, long-term know-how and modern data-processing techniques as well as co-operative partners at home and abroad, the Intecus team is capable and qualified to work on the complex problems of environmental protection. The Intecus team`s experience and expertise covers areas such as consultation, expert opinions, scientific studies, advanced training, experimental investigation, R+D projects, waste processing plant design, commissioning and operation.
